Angelica Hernandez-Williams Named A Latino Leader for the 2021 Coors Light Líderes

This year, Angelica Hernandez-Williams was selected as one of the 2021 recipients in the Coors Light Líderes program! She is being recognized for her workrnwith The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and was granted $10,000 for the nonprofit. The leader hasrnimpacted the community by building a network of rural Arizona nonprofit leaders to advance theirrnskills and strengthen their organizations in order to better serve their communities. She hasrncreated avenues to allow for connection through technology, co-started a podcast, and isrndeveloping a rural volunteer team to help provide services across the state of Arizona.

Being honored with this award is a direct reflection of myrnparents instilling me with the drive to work hard and daily reminders to treat everyone withrnkindness. My chosen nonprofit, The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, is expanding its efforts intornrural Arizona and the grant will help strengthen nonprofit organizations to better serve the Latinxrncommunities throughout rural Arizona. Since the programs’ launch in 2006, it has helped fourteenrnLatino trailblazers empower their communities by awarding them with over $350,000 in grants forrntheir nonprofit organizations and giving them access to the Change Makers Alumni Network.
