Welcome, Kate Norman, AmeriCorps VISTA Leader

Hello! My name is Kate Norman. I’m the new AmeriCorps VISTA Leader at the Alliance. Together with our team I’ll be working on building and strengthening our AmeriCorps VISTA Program. I’m looking forward to this opportunity and I’m excited to work with the Alliance!

What are some important things that you hope to accomplish in your role with the Alliance/VISTA program?

I’m really excited to help grow the VISTA Program, we have a lot of important projects opening up and I can’t wait to find the right people for those roles.

What are you reading/watching/listening to?

Lately I’ve been re-reading Everything Matters! by Ron Currie Jr.

What are you enjoying in your spare time?

I’m new to Tucson, so I’ve been enjoying exploring the city in my free time.

Is there something else that people may be interested in knowing about you?

Something else interesting is I’m bilingual in Mandarin/English.
