Board Governance: Nonprofit & Private Training
Service on a nonprofit Board of Directors can be one of the most rewarding ways to contribute your skills and experience to make a positive impact on the community. Nonprofits working hard to improve our state face enormous challenges, so they seek energetic, talented and qualified leaders to achieve their missions. But first, it is critical that prospective board members first educate themselves on what it means to be a board member, including the fiduciary, legal and fundraising responsibilities of nonprofit board service.

AZ Impact for Good is launching its first cohort for Nonprofit Financial Strategies in 2026. Join Arizona nonprofit leaders for a six-week learning experience designed to help you move beyond financial basics and develop the skills needed to make confident, strategic decisions that support long-term sustainability and mission impact.
This is the pilot of an intermediate training series that provides practical tools, guided discussions, and real-world applications to help leaders strengthen their organization's financial health, resilience, and growth.
The pilot cohort is designed as a complete learning experience; participants are expected to attend all six sessions.
